The SVC is the first of its kind in Lebanon and the Middle East. It caters to all professional voice users and individuals with voice problems. The mission is threefold, artistic, educational and medical. The ultimate goal is to provide a multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and treatment of vocal and articulatory problems. This is addressed by a highly skilled medical and vocal team specialized in vocal art and medicine and dedicated for the care of the professional voice. Be it organic, functional or psychogenic, the SVC has the facility to manage vocal faults with a wide scope and a broad vision.
A new concept in the history of Middle Eastern singing has been introduced . A concept that translates singing into an athletic activity which requires training and enhancement. This notion has transformed the voice from a mere subjective acoustic perception into a visualized movement, a giant step we owe to scientific revelations and perseverance.
